Mozart Opening Project

Broadway in Concert

For its inaugural production, BSOC presents two of Mozart's most celebrated masterpieces: the luminous Symphony No. 39 and the profound Requiem.
Bringing together musicians from leading German and Austrian orchestras alongside an international choir, this opening project marks the beginning of a new musical bridge between Bavaria and Spain.

The Bayerische Symphoniker Orchester and Choir (BSOC) is a new European musical initiative founded by Spanish conductor Pascual Osa, founder and Artistic Director of Filarmonía de Madrid.

Built on more than 25 years of artistic experience in Spain, BSOC brings together outstanding professional musicians from some of Germany's and Austria's most prestigious orchestras in a project that connects the rich musical traditions of Bavaria and Spain.

At the heart of BSOC is a professional symphony orchestra committed to artistic excellence and the great European orchestral tradition. Alongside the orchestra, BSOC also develops a large international choir based on a model successfully established by Pascual Osa in Spain, where thousands of singers take part in major symphonic-choral productions each year.

Through dedicated rehearsal programmes, study materials and musical guidance, singers are given the opportunity to perform some of the most celebrated works ever written, including Mozart's Requiem, Orff's Carmina Burana, Mahler's Symphony No. 8 and Beethoven's Symphony No. 9.

BSOC brings together professional musicians, singers and audiences from different countries in a shared artistic experience. By combining musical excellence, education and international collaboration, the project creates new cultural connections and celebrates the power of music to bring people together.
